What's up?

I've been lazy lately. DH is away visiting his Mom in NYC. So I indulge my tendency to be a night-owl, and stay up late and of course sleep in late.

I have a to-do list but am having trouble getting things done.

Yesterday was the deadline for a design submissions for a knitting publication so I was busy sketching, swatching, drawing the schematics, scanning my sketches, photographing my swatches, and putting it all together for the submissions. There are quite a few steps involved beyond the actual idea!

I started selling some of my stash on Ravelry, which caused me to look at what other people are selling, which caused me to buy more stash with the money I made -- which is OK because now I will have some yarn I've never tried: Sanguine Gryphon, DragonFly, and Sundara.

Of course all this Rav surfing sucks up huge amounts of time -- but you knew that, right ? :-)

In other news, I did finally spread mulch in the garden, which had been on my to-do list for weeks. It took all of one hour.

There's also a rose garden, but there are only a few roses at this time..


Now, I'm off to find the yarn that I sold, so I can mail it out.

Does that count as my getting rid of one thing a day ? ;-)
